Nursing With Compassion

Brightview is proud to provide a wide range of nursing services. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nurse assistants are on duty day and night, seven days a week to meet the needs of our residents. Brightview realizes that families often have questions about the nursing care and therefore the staff welcomes calls from family members about their relatives care and condition.

Brightview is committed to helping residents gain the strength and skills necessary to return home. often many of the typical home chores will become challenging after a hospitalization. To ensure a safe and successful return home, Brightview has created an apartment model with a kitchen, bath and bed that allows residents to practice many of the skills needed to return to their homes.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Brightview offers a pleasant, homey atmosphere. Our rooms are spacious and comfortable. Residents are encouraged to bring their television, family photographs, or a favorite chair. Families, friends, and children are always welcome to visit with our residents in our large and comfortable lounges.

Social and Religious Events

At Brightview, residents participate in social events including bingo, movie screenings, restaurant outings, a cooking club and ice cream socials. The Activities Department is committed to continually developing programs that reflect the residents interests.

In addition, Brightview believes a person's spiritual well-being is an important part of one's overall health and happiness. We provide religious services for all faiths, which allows residents to maintain their spiritual affiliation while at Brightview.

The Healing Touch
When you are faced with a wound that is reoccurring or difficult to heal, Brightview has a specially trained wound care nurse that uses advanced techniques to help these wounds heal as quickly as possible.

The Wounds we treat:· Post Surgical Wounds, · Burns, · Abscess,· Stage 3&4 Decubitus Ulcers, Specialty beds and Whirlpool Treatments are available when prescribed by your physician.

PHYSICIAN CARE

A board-certified physician guides and supports medical care at Brightview. The physician is in contact with the nurses and is kept abreast of medical conditions. If a physician is needed, the staff at Brightview will assist in the selection of the best doctor for your needs.

SOCIAL SERVICES

Brightview welcomes residents to live in a community whose diverse needs are accommodated by trained professionals. Our social service team offers counseling and assistance with personal problems common to aging and lifestyle adjustments.

THE DINING EXPERIENCE

Dining is an important part of every resident's day. All meals are prepared under the direction of a Registered Dietician who monitors and consults residents on a regular basis to determine food preferences. Guests are welcome for any meal. Arrangements can be made for special events and parties.

LAUNDRY SERVICES

A Quality laundry staff works daily to provide a constant supply of clean linen and personal clothing for Brightview residents.

KEEPING IT CLEAN

A fully trained Housekeeping staff is on duty seven days a week to maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
